Considering Others

I listened to a sermon last night that smacked me around a good deal. It was over a verse that now has the reputation for convicting the crap out of me:

3Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

How often do we actually imitate Jesus and lay down our lives for others? Can it really be said of you that in humility you count others more significant than yourselves?

What if we, as the people of God, truly lived this!?!?
