Jobsite Antics

Without exception, every married man on the jobsite call their wives "the old lady" or "my old lady". I figure most ladies wouldn't take too kindly to being called old lady, but I love it.

Also, almost every operator or laborer is given a nickname early on that eventually becomes what everyone knows them by. A few of the ones I know are:

Tater (he stands at a towering 4'6")
G-dawg (I have no idea why...his name is Shane)
Hog-Head
J-Rod
Chong (his name is steve boros, but he has a ridiculous beard)

Kimi, the secretary here (or field assistant if you want to be PC, which I usually don't want to be) calls me youngin'. Its pretty appropriate though, considering the fact that i'm the youngest here by 20 years. How ridiculous is it that the average person I work with is old enough to be my father?
