Anger's Root

A quick question that has humbled me as of late:

Is your anger due to the fact that someone has wronged or dishonored or undermined or overlooked or insulted YOU,

OR

because they dishonored, undermined, overlooked, or insulted JESUS?

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7)
